Aizaz Rizvi College of Journalism & Mass Communication (ARCJMC) organsied its Annual Fest – “Ada Vantage – 2015” at SRS City Mall, Gomtinagar, Lucknow on Tuesday. Amoung the Guest were Dr. Satish Grover-Station, Former ADG – Doordarshan Kendra, Lucknow; Shri Ratan Mani Lal, Sr.Journalist & Padm Shree Prof. Emeritus Asifa Zamani.
The program started with the music, dance & song performances which was conducted by Rhythm and Beats, the Events & Entertainment Wing of ARCJMC. The Western Dance medley was performed in two sections students and professionals. Students Dance group was lead by Abhishek (Trainer) and included Aaryan Kapoor, Pankhuri, Devashi, Vaidahi, Madhuram, Sarthak, Sparsh and Nupur. Students Guitar Medley was presented by Arbab, Sukanya, Swati & Yashweer and lead by Roger while Drum skills were shown by Sahil and Aayush supporting the guitarist and Vocals. Vocals were performed by Arbab, Falak, Shreya and Shonali.
Amongst the Professionals, A tribute to Govinda was choreographed by Lucknow’s Best Choreographer Prince Kapoor and the dancing team included professional dances Jasmin, Jatin, Anshul, Divya, Harshal and Samrat. The other Dance Performance on Pappi Song was Choreographed by Rahul Singh and amongst the dancers were Jasmin, Jatin, Anshul, Divya, Harshal, Abhishek and Samrath.
There were two Band Performances by The Burning Octave and Vrindum Band. Which were highly applauded.
The main attraction of the program was the screening of the short film, ‘Wireless Love’ which was based on today’s concept of falling in love through social media. It’s a comic love story in which the pre-production & acting was done by the ARCJMC students while the production & editing was done by ARCJMC Media Lab. The eighteen minute short film had indoor & outdoor shoot sequences which were aptly balanced by sound mixing and dubbing. The short film was done by the students of ARCJMC who had opted for electronic media during their course of study.
